This morning head to Waikato Province. In Waitomo tour the striking limestone and glowworm caves. Tonight in Rotorua enjoy a traditional Maori Hangi feast and cultural performance at Mitai Maori Village.

Today, choose to indulge in a treatment at the Polynesian Spa, tour Rotorua's attractions, visit Rotorua Museum or play a round of golf.

Rotorua- Wellington (B, D)

Today head to Wairakei steam valley, a geothermal power project, see Huka Falls and Lake Taupo. Then cross the volcanic plateau of Tongariro National Park to Wellington for a sightseeing tour, including Mt Victoria.

Wellington - Nelson (B, D)

Take the Interislander ferry across Cook Strait to the South Island. Traverse Queen Charlotte Sound to Picton. Tour through the vineyards of Marlborough to Nelson. Tonight choose from two restaurants for dinner.

Nelson - Franz Josef (B, D)

Today drive via Buller Gorge to the West Coast. See Punakaiki's Pancake  Rocks then head to Westland National Park. Tonight dine on West Coast specialities.

Franz Josef - Wanaka (B, D)

Travel through Haast Pass and over the Southern Alps, past the shores of Lakes Hawea and Wanaka. Stay in Wanaka, surrounded by Mt Aspiring National Park.

Wanaka - Queenstown (B, D)

Travel to Arrowtown and visit the Lakes District Museum, before continuing to Queenstown. Tonight explore Queenstown with a choice of 15 restaurants.

Today choose your activity. Perhaps take a sightseeing or garden tour, try the Shotover River jetboat ride, a Safari of the Scenes tour or the Skippers Canyon 4WD adventure.

Queenstown - Milford Sound - Te Anau (B, D)

This morning travel through Fiordland National Park, for a cruise on Milford Sound with views of Mitre Peak. You'll return through Eglinton Valley to Te Anau.

Te Anau - Dunedin (B, D)

Today journey to Dunedin. Here, perhaps visit Speights Brewery, tour Larnach Castle, discover the albatross colony or see the Yellow-eyed Penguins of the Otago Peninsula.

Dunedin - Mt Cook (B, D)

View the Moeraki Boulders. Stop at Oamaru on the way to Mt Cook National Park. On arrival choose your activity, such as a nature walk. Tonight choose from two restaurants.

Mt Cook - Christchurch (B)

Visit Lake Tekapo and the Church of the Good Shepherd. Continue on the coach via Rakaia Gorge, or take the TranzAlpine train through Arthurs Pass, to Christchurch. Your tour concludes with a departure transfer to the airport.
